Pumpkin: She was our first cat, we got her from a co-worker of mine, because one of her cats had kittens. She could not find anyone to sell the kittens to, so she gave one to me for free. She was about 2 months old when we got her. =) She is a polydactyl tortoishell. (a cat with a congenital physical anomaly, with more than usual number of toes on one or all of its paws as a result of a cat body type genetic mutation.) She loves to play and hide around. She makes a lot of spaceship noises and eats a ton of food. She loves taking naps with us and sleeping with us at night. She also loves getting treats for scratching her post. And yes, she loves paper and plastic bags. She's strictly an indoor cat... ![]() ![]() ![]() Peanut: He was our second cat we got, from the mspca. He was such a nice guy, he was a year older than Pumpkin, and very tiny. And also very quite. He developed a neurological disorder that really did a number on him, so we decided to put him down. It was really hard on us and Pumpkin... Not much more to say except he was an awesome cat, and Pumpkin's best buddy~ ![]() ![]() ![]() Nieman: We had this cat for like 2 days... He had a rough past. We thought we had the patience to deal with such a cat, but was mistaken. Pumpkin was not liking this fool too much. And often he'd hiss at her. He weighed about 30 lbs, but was running all over the apartment, making all sorts of loud noises. He would've been awesome if we had our own house, and if we didn't have another cat. But yeah, he didn't work out in our setup so I brought him back to the mspca. I really felt bad for that, but it wasn't working out. This nigga' did chinups on my clothes rack... seriously. He jumped from my bed onto the damn clothes rack, and did a full chinup-> then released and fell on his neck. It was insane! Friday, January 30, 2009

![]() Its a celebration! We now have a new location to train! I just got back from a session and it was good! Mondays and Wednesdays from 9pm-until. And weekends are totally available, anytime! So if we're low on cash we can just do a session there~ If we have a crew it'll only cost us about 20 bucks for all of us, not each person. =) So bring some cash, but not much. Plus the Vietnamese place is right around the corner from the training spot!! =D So yes yes yes, let us progress! Call me for the directions and what not, I dont wanna post addresses and stuff... I'll be going... =) All you youngin's convinced me to go, I'm very touched that my presence will be appreciated that much... Sorry to my team mates, I tried to make plans with you guys and then I kinda just, stopped contacting you guys this week. Well, I promise we'll get back at it next week. And possibly we'll have our old location back. You know, the old gym for free for as long as we want. =) This will be good to prepare us for the warmer months. We gotta get good so we can make some sick spring and summer videos! (This is Mike Wong and I in one of Aric's video projects. I can't wait to see what became of this stuff, we did some sick stuff that night!)Also, Hilary is the best person in this world... Even better than Captain Planet and Hard Gay mixed! She's been supporting me and the team with everything! She's been keeping me motivated for training and helping me with training and eating, etc. She's been holding it down and deserves all the praise in the world! ![]() ![]() But, watch this incredible video!! ![]() I recently saw a documentary made in 2008 about the man who tightrope walked between the tops of the twin towers in 1974. Philippe Petit and a small group of friends snuck themselves, and over 500 lbs of equipment to the top of either tower of the world trade center. They rigged up a tightrope overnight and, at 7:15 in the morning "The 25-year-old Petit made eight crossings between the mostly-finished towers, a quarter mile above the sidewalks of Manhattan, in an event that lasted about 45 minutes. During that time, in addition to walking, he sat on the wire, gave knee salute and, while lying on the wire, dialogued with a gull circling above his head." Here's the trailer for the documentary: This is the single most motivating thing I've ever seen in my life. I recommend that every one of you watch it. Friday, January 09, 2009
